The outfit is definitely one that Reggie does find absolutely horrible and tacky, but Veronica herself is another story; she's pretty, actually, which is a hard observation for Reggie to ignore when she's this close to him. The only other time they've been close like this was a few months back at one of his parties, when they'd made out (or did they almost make out? Reggie was too drunk at the time to still remember much of what happened) during the candy bracelet game.
